The secretary of Communications and Public Works (SCOP), Desiderio Camacho Garibo, detail that the new track is a type A2 highway, with a length of 22.6 km, a crown width of 12 meters, width of carriageway of 7 meters, a limiting 2.5 meters of pavement thickness of 40 centimeters, and is projected to be traveled at a speed of 110 km per hour.

He added that the highway will connect with the West, had four road intersection ranging from Mexico-Guadalajara, Maravatio- Zapotlanejo, Morelia-Tres Marias and will have connectivity to the fairgrounds and the links to the municipality Charo of Morelia.
